Five-plus years in Spring Boot, Java and Kotlin, though lately it's more Terraform and cutover work than actual features. I use coding agents daily, no big deal at this point. Outside of work I self-host way more than I probably should.

Where I've worked
- Quality & Knowledge On IT Services
Backend in Spring Boot and Kotlin, plus a growing slice of cloud migration work: containerizing services, writing Terraform for staging environments, and running cutover and rollback rehearsals that make a production release boring instead of stressful. Angular front ends when the work calls for one.

Kept the company site's infrastructure running and shipped updates alongside the design team.
What I've tinkered with
- Homelab & self-hosting
A tunnel back into my own network, a home server running Proxmox for a handful of VMs, a TrueNAS box for private cloud storage, and a modded Minecraft server or two. Learned entirely by trial and error.
- Local LLMs
Self-hosted language models running on my own hardware, driven through custom harnesses I build instead of off-the-shelf clients.
- Custom keyboards
Building and flashing mechanical keyboards with QMK. I'm typing this from one right now.
